Here is a breakdown of all you need to know ahead of the first ever Roundhay Festival in 2026.
The three-day event is being held in the natural amphitheatre, The Arena, in Roundhay Park. It will take place from Friday, July 3 to Sunday, July 5.
Global rap superstar Pitbull will headline the opening night on Friday. The line-up also includes special guests Jason Derulo, Tinie Tempah, and Lil Jon. R Scottish singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi will headline the festival on Saturday. Saturday’s supporting acts feature Conan Gray and Jessie Murph.
The festival concludes on Sunday with All Things Orchestral, performed by the famous Hallé Orchestra. This final day is hosted by Myleene Klass MBE and features tenor Alfie Boe.

Entry/Exit Times
Organised by AEG Presents, the event is a standing-only, non-camping festival. Entry times are at 1pm each day with last entry to all shows at 8.30pm. The box office will close at 8pm. The headliners will aim to finish at approximately 10.30pm.

Banned Items
- Golf umbrellas, parasols and the like
- Chairs, seats, shooting sticks and tables
- Suitcases, luggage and large bags (anything bigger than A4 sized bags). (You can leave your bags at one of Stasher’s hundreds of left luggage locations for only £6 per day (insured up to £1000). Locations within walking distance of the festival.)
- Only one A4 size bag is allowed per person
- Air horns, selfie sticks, spray cans, Chinese lanterns, dangerous or hazardous weapons/items, fireworks, flags, gas canisters, hand held communication devices such as radios, radio jammers/scanners and the like; glass (of any kind), high-viz, klaxons and other similar items capable of making loud noise, laser pens, drones, pyrotechnics, racist, xenophobic, political and religious propaganda materials, signs or inappropriate branded items, weapons, explosives, knives or anything that could be adopted for use as a weapon, promotional or commercial objects or materials, mechanical or electronic sound-emitting devices, such as megaphones, scooters, skateboards and bicycles are prohibited, and any other items which we consider to be unsafe or pose a risk to public safety and/or security
- Psychoactive substances / so-called ‘legal highs’ are strictly forbidden at the event and following the introduction of the Psychoactive Substances Act on 26 May 2016, could result in penalties for possession or supply
- Unauthorised professional photography or filming equipment is strictly prohibited
Transport Info
Dedicated City Centre Shuttle service. Pre-booking is not required and buses will operate throughout the day, starting at 11am and ending at 8pm. every twenty minutes. Pick-up will be on Sovereign Street and drop off will be outside of Leeds Train Station. £4.50 for a single journey. Card payments only.
Car Parking. Fearnville Park and Stride is a 2-mile / 30-minute walk away from Roundhay Festival. Parking is available on grass fields, and the walking route is a country path. ANPR systems will operate to ensure pre-booked cars receive priority access. Bookings can be made up until 6pm the day before your event. It will not be available on Sunday 5 July for All Things Orchestral. Blue Badge parking available on Mansion Lane.
Regional Coaches. Tickets will be available on the official event app and the Big Green Coach website closer to the event date.
By Train. See shuttle service from city centre above.
Private or Taxi Drop Off. Pick-Up / Drop-Off points: North: Park View Crescent. South: Wetherby Road.
Cycling. Temporary bike racks at West Entrance. Bring own lock. Collect same day.
