Jessica Simpson Flaunts Her Plunging Red-Hot Bikini in Rare Selfie

Jessica Simpson was feeling herself as she shared a series of rare bikini photos with her 6.2 million Instagram followers on Friday, July 4. In keeping with the Fourth of July theme, the newly-single “I Wanna Love You Forever” singer went patriotic while modeling a plunging red balconette bikini that showed off her toned figure.

Simpson—who announced her split from Eric Johnson, her husband of 10 years, in January—was all smiles as she beat the July heat in the tiny two-piece swimsuit. In a mirror selfie taken from her bathroom that was shared to her Instagram Story, the Dukes of Hazzard actress could be seen modeling a sweetheart-style plunging red bikini top with a tie at the front paired with matching low-rise bikini bottoms with ties on the sides. Covering her face with a pair of oversized white-rummed sunglasses, Simpson styled the pool day-ready look with a short-sleeved olive green button-up shirt that she wore open to keep the focus on her bikini. 

The star accessorized with stacks of gold and silver bangles, a sparkling necklace, and a white-and-red scarf that she wore as a headband. Her newly-dyed “desert sunset blonde” hair was styled in beachy waves with longer face-framing pieces. A navy blue “USA” baseball cap with a flag on the side could be seen sitting on the bathroom counter.

In another swimsuit selfie shared on her Instagram Story, Simpson put on the baseball cap as she showed off an itty bitty polka-dotted bikini that looked straight out of her “These Boots Are Made For Walking” era.

The black-and-white image, which appeared to be taken in a bedroom with floral wallpaper, showed Simpson modeling a pair of ultra-low-rise daisy dukes with distressing on the front and an open plaid shirt that showed off her white patterned bikini set. A pair of oversized aviator sunglasses and sandals finished off her Y2K-coded look.
