The details come from three separate planning applications in York.
The first, for Hotel Ibis on The Mount, seeks permission for two internally lit fascia signs, one internally lit projecting sign, and two non-lit parking signs.
This application was received on January 27 and validated a day later.
A consultation date of February 21 has been set, but the decision is still pending.
The site is in a Grade II listed area within the Central Historic Core Conservation Area and inside the York North West Boundary.
Next up is a proposal for the Christian Science Reading Room on High Petergate.
This involves adding two video display screens and redecorating the shopfront.
Similar to the hotel signage application, this one was also received and validated on January 27 and 28, respectively.
Its consultation date is February 18, and it too is awaiting a decision.
This address is part of a Grade II listed building, situated in the Central Historic Core Conservation Area and is within the City Centre Area of Archaeological Interest.
The third submission concerns a proposed 10m light pole at a location listed as Street Record, Clifton.
This was received and validated on January 30.
The site is within the Clifton Conservation Area, inside the York City Boundary, and the decision on this is also pending.
These applications are open for public viewing and comments can be submitted before the consultation deadlines.
Final decision dates have not been confirmed, nor has there been any information on potential modifications.
Residents are encouraged to follow the planning portal for updates and check constraints related to listed building rules or conservation areas.
The council will examine each case on its merits and consider local policies.
Public feedback can influence outcomes, and any further requirements will be detailed in council reports.
All relevant documents are available through the planning pages.
Future changes, if any, will appear on the planning register once decisions are reached.
Interested individuals can also contact council offices with questions about these proposals and their outcomes.
Further details of the applications can be found on the City of York Council website under the planning section.
