York already have two pre-season friendlies confirmed ahead of their 2025/26 season, playing away to Garforth Town on Tuesday, July 8 (7.30pm) and then on Tuesday, July 22 against Barnsley at the LNER Community Stadium (7pm).
Another pre-season friendly has now been confirmed by the football club, and their first friendly on a Saturday too.
York will travel to National League North side Marine on Saturday, July 26 (3pm), which is likely to be their final pre-season match before their National League campaign begins.
It will be a first-ever meeting between the two teams, with both sides never before facing each other competitively.
Marine finished their 2024/25 season in 15th position of the National League North, accumulating 58 points.
They ended the season 19 points clear of the relegation zone, and 21 adrift of the play-off places.
