Fraser Olender shocked Below Deck viewers when he announced he’s in a relationship, but what do we know about the Chief Stew’s new boyfriend? Below Deck season 12 is Fraser’s third season on the Bravo reality show, and while he always remains professional, Fraser has kissed some of his coworkers. In Below Deck season 11, Fraser shared a kiss with Kyle Stille, a deckhand who entered into a relationship with Barbie Pascual.
Fraser is a member of the LGBTQ+ community, and while he isn’t the only Below Deck season 12 cast member who identifies as LGBTQ+, he is the only gay male crew member. Below Deck is known for crew members hooking up, but Fraser’s options in that department are limited. Therefore, he has to find people outside of the St. David to date. Who was Fraser dating when he made his announcement, and are they still together?
Fraser’s Dating History
Fraser Broke A Rule Last Season
Fraser’s dating history is pretty secretive. He hasn’t openly named many of his exes, but Below Deck fans still know a little about Fraser’s past. On Below Deck season 11, Fraser broke his number one rule when he kissed a charter guest.
Fraser and Steven Raucci had chemistry from the get-go. However, developing a physical relationship with a guest aboard the St. David is a fireable offense. Luckily, Fraser didn’t break the rules when he and Steven kissed, as Fraser had asked Captain Kerry Titheradge for permission in advance. Kerry gave his permission, and Fraser and Steven shared a kiss. Steven even invited Fraser back to his cabin, although the Chief Stew declined the offer. Off-charter, Steven and Fraser made out in a nightclub.
Who Is Fraser’s Boyfriend In Below Deck Season 12?
Fraser Is Keeping His Mouth Shut
Fraser announced his relationship status when he first met the crew at drinks after asking everyone else if they were single. Fraser was the only crew member at the bar in a relationship. However, he neglected to name his boyfriend and gave very little information. The extent of what we know about Fraser’s boyfriend is that he also works on boats and that they barely see each other. In fact, Fraser said he had only seen his boyfriend for five days that year, which equaled half a day per month.

It makes sense that Below Deck‘s Fraser Olender wouldn’t want to say very much about his relationship on Below Deck. While it’s important to create a bond with his fellow crew members, he is the boss of the interior team, and it’s good to have boundaries with coworkers. Plus, all of his conversations could be potential TV show fodder, and Fraser probably wants to protect his boyfriend and their relationship. Fraser’s Instagram does not show any indication of a relationship, as most of his photos are just of him.
Fraser’s Love Life Will Become Entangled In Below Deck Season 12
Does Fraser’s Relationship Last?
Dating in the yachting industry is extremely difficult. Spending quality time with a partner is important for a healthy relationship, and that can be difficult to accomplish when one person is living on a superyacht for six weeks at a time. That’s why crew members often date each other, like when Kyle and Barbie dated on Below Deck season 11. While it’s unfortunate that Fraser and his boyfriend had only spent five days together all year before Fraser went off to film Below Deck, it’s not surprising.
Today, Fraser is no longer in a relationship.
Unfortunately, Fraser and his boyfriend have broken up. Fraser was part of an exclusive interview with People where he and other Bravo stars talked about love and being single. In the Below Deck season 12 trailer, we see Fraser and Solène Favreau making out, so it’s very possible Fraser and his boyfriend broke up while the Bravo reality show was filming. Alternatively, Fraser’s kiss with Solène could be the reason he and his boyfriend decided to call it quits. Viewers will have to watch the full season to find out what happens with Fraser’s relationship status.
Below Deck airs Mondays at 8 p.m. EDT on Bravo.
