AS it’s been nearly a month since Rachael Maskell had the Labour whip withdrawn, can I ask her when we can expect her to do the honourable thing, which her former comrades always call for when any non Labour MP finds them sitting on the naughty step, and resign?

Arrested for protesting against genocide
THE actions of Palestine Action are actually how normal people react to their country being involved in foreign wars; when their government is funding and arming terrorist armies abroad; and, in general, when their government is involved in the aiding and abetting of terrorism abroad.
Not one item of British military hardware is being utilised in defending British shores and defending British nationals.
Boatloads of migrants arrive on British shores most days without even the minimum of deterrence by the British armed forces.
Instead, British military hardware is being used in genocidal wars abroad – something which is making Britain unsafe and British nationals at risk of attack in retaliation.
Genocide is being aided and abetted by the British Government in Gaza and people at home are being labelled “terrorists” for nothing more than holding a sign saying, “I oppose genocide. I support Palestine Action”.

Net zero plans to ‘stop the boats’
DURING the last General Election campaign, Starmer proudly stated one of his main aims, if elected to power, would be to “smash the gangs” involving illegal immigration.
We now know this was pure blatant electioneering by someone who possessed neither a practical plan or the willingness to carry it out.
Subsequently, since moving into Downing Street, more than 50,000 migrants have arrived in Dover and he continues to be totally clueless as to how to resolve the matter.
His leadership skills same as his energy policy – net zero.
