Get ready to elevate your hummus game to a whole new level with this Chocolate Hummus Fruit Dip! Yes, you read that correctly: We paired chocolate and hummus, putting a sweet spin on this classic Mediterranean staple. The result will blow your taste buds away! Traditional hummus recipes are made with garbanzo beans, tahini, olive oil, and salt to create a creamy puree that tastes wonderful as a pita spread or veggie dip. But we found that you don’t have to take the traditional route when making hummus. So why not make a sweet version for dessert? And what goes with chocolate hummus?

We’re Taking Hummus To The Next Level

We decided to shake things up and create a hummus to fall under the dessert category. This chocolate hummus fruit dip makes the perfect sweet treat for parties and gatherings. Not to mention it satisfies your sweet tooth and gives you your chocolate fix while hooking you up with lots of feel-good vitamins and nutrients. You can pair so much with chocolate hummus, but what goes with chocolate hummus?

A Guilt-Free Chocolate Dip

What goes with chocolate hummus? Most hummus recipes pair well with veggies or pita bread, but our chocolate hummus works with many different accompaniments. We love serving it with salty pretzels, sliced fruit, and graham crackers. Unconventional? Maybe, but it’s more similar to chocolate fondue than traditional hummus, only guilt-free and good for you.

Here, chickpeas team up with creamy tahini, maple syrup, unsweetened cocoa powder, and vanilla extract. As a result, you get a rich, chocolatey dip that’s good enough to enjoy with a spoon.
