North Yorkshire Police say they are looking for Paul Starr, 43, of no fixed address but who is believed to in the York area.
A police spokesman said: “He’s wanted for breaching the terms of his release from prison.
“As well as York, he also has links in the Doncaster area.
“If you have any information regarding his whereabouts, please contact us on 101 and speak to the Force Control Room.
“If you see him, please call 999 immediately to ensure he can be quickly arrested.”
