This Amazon Hair Growth Serum Grows Longer, Stronger Hair

Over the past few years, drug-free, plant-based hair growth formulas have become increasingly popular. Alternative products, like Rogaine,  contain ingredients like minoxidil. Though it’s an over-the-counter, FDA-approved drug, it may induce side effects like headaches and scalp itching in some people. Among the most popular of these plant-powered alternatives is Divi’s Scalp Serum. In the past month alone, more than 6,000 Amazon shoppers have purchased the formula, and more than 1,000 have awarded it a perfect five-star rating.

Now is an excellent time to try Divi’s Scalp Serum for yourself. Now that the formula is 23 percent off at Amazon, it’s marked down to just $37 ahead of Prime Big Deal Days.

Divi Scalp Serum

The Divi Scalp Serum is a drug-free hair growth elixir that stimulates follicles via science-backed plant extracts (more on those, below!). In addition to stimulating new growth, the lightweight, non-greasy serum strengthens existing strands—and, in turn, stymies shedding.

Caffeine, which stimulates hair follicles and revs up growth, is among the formula’s key ingredients. As cosmetic chemist Victoria Fu previously told InStyle, caffeine has been shown to have comparable hair growth results to minoxidil, sans potential side effects.

Blended with menthol and peppermint oil, the formula stimulates hair follicles to boost growth. As dermatologist Dr. Marisa Garshick, M.D., previously shared with InStyle, “peppermint oil has been shown to increase blood flow to the scalp.” In doing so, it transports nutrients to the follicles. Consequently, she said it can “stimulate growth.” Ultimately, both ingredients yield “thicker, stronger hair.”

Finally, Divi’s formula features rosemary extract—a trendy ingredient thanks to its circulation-boosting properties. Rosemary oil has also been shown to rival minoxidil,  per a handful of scientific studies. Plus, as Dr. Garshick previously told InStyle, “Rosemary oil can also work to reduce hair damage and breakage,” which, in turn, allows hair to grow by coating the hair shaft with oil, making the hair appear stronger, softer, and smoother,”

Shoppers say the herbal formula works just as the brand and ingredients promise. One reviewer, who had been losing around “20 long hairs” every time they ran a brush through their mane,, saw a reduction in shedding after just four days of using the product. Another shopper said their hair is growing “like weeds,” reporting two inches of new growth after a month of using the serum. “It also makes my hair less frizzy and super soft,” they added. Finally, a third reviewer attributed new “long and strong” baby hairs—which their stylist applauded—to Divi’s serum.
