Taylor Swift’s Sheer Date Night Top Is ‘Reputation’-Coded

Just hours after reuniting at the Kansas City Chiefs versus Baltimore Ravens game on Thursday night, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce showed some sweet PDA as they headed out for a New York City date night on Friday. Traylor firmly put recent breakup speculation to bed, stepping out hand-in-hand for a romantic dinner at Lucali – and Swift appeared to have taken inspiration from her Reputation era with unusually daring sartorial choice.

Per videos shared by fans on X (formerly Twitter), the “Cruel Summer” star could be seen wearing a completely sheer black mock neck top as she made an appearance at the Brooklyn pizza spot. Holding hands with her Chiefs player boyfriend, Swift styled the top with a barely-there black bandeau bra and an oversized The Sei navy blue blazer trimmed with black silk lapels and the same material on the sleeves.

The Grammy award winner balanced the proportions of the blazer with a pair of matching tiny navy blue hot pants and one of her fall style staples: A pair of quilted knee-high black boots from Louis Vuitton, which added several inches to Swift’s tall stature. Stacks of layered pendant necklaces, a matching quilted Louis Vuitton handbag, and a tailored black belt with gold hardware completed the singer’s date night look. 

Swift went with her signature beauty for her night out, wearing her bangs and wavy blonde hair in an effortlessly tousled style, adding a black cat eye “sharp enough to kill a man,” and swapping out her signature red lipstick for a glossy rose pink pout.

Meanwhile, Kelce celebrated his latest football win with his go-to whimsical style. He turned heads in a pair of bold navy blue-and-black pinstripe pants, and navy blue loafers which matched Swift’s color palette. A cream sleeveless sweater, a black baseball cap, and plenty of gold hardware–a luxe watch, a bracelet, and a chain around his neck–gave his outfit a street style edge.

Multiple swifties shared footage of the couple walking into the restaurant, with Swift leading her boyfriend as they walked through the front door. Later, Kelce could be seen holding Swift’s hand and leading her out of the Italian eatery before they left in a white SUV. It’s unknown how long the pair will be hanging out in the Big Apple, but it looks like they have some time to enjoy some of the “Down Bad” singer’s favorite New York City haunts before Kelce’s next game on September 15.
