Local business owners, Lucie Pope and Ruth Richards, have organised the event to showcase the city’s finest wedding suppliers.
The fair will be held at Tea by the Lock in Naburn on Sunday, April 27, from 10am to 4pm.
Ms Pope, who runs Into the Hedgerow, said: “We hope the Sustainable Wedding Fair will inspire others to think about ways they could make more ethical wedding planning choices to minimise their impact on the environment.”
The event will feature a range of local wedding suppliers, including Rachael Bowers, a humanist wedding celebrant; Charlotte Hubbard, a vegan and cruelty-free makeup and hair artist; and Hannah Gibbons, a traditional calligraphy artist.
Entry is free, and refreshments will be available throughout the day.
