The trust say a restructured board, new directors and a new chair, Karen Siedle, has been appointed.
It comes after no agreement has yet been reached at talks between the two sides.
Head teacher Dee Patton-Statham said: “Staff have been encouraged by recent, constructive conversatins withthe newly formed trust board and welcome the more open and respectful tone and approach in these discussions. This is a very positive step forward.
“However, it’s essential that these positive conversations lead to clear action and change. Continued dialogue is important, and we remain hopeful that this will result in improvements that benefit the whole school community.
“At St George’s, one of our core virtues is courage. We work hard to help our children grow into confident, compassionate leaders of the future. This means showing them that using your voice to bring about change is not only a right but a responsibility.”

“We are pleased to see the new Directors listening to our concerns and seeking to change the academy culture, but until we see concrete proposals, we must continue our campaign to fight for justice for our students, schools and community.
“We are cautiously optimistic the next round of talks will provide some fruitful changes that will bring about the positive changes we all so desperately need.”
A spokesperson for the trust said: “We want to assure all our staff that we are listening to their concerns and hope to work together to build trust and come to an agreement.”
Further strikes are planned on Tuesday and Wednesday June 24 and 25.
