A teenager who snapped a horse seemingly mid-laugh has been commended by the RSPCA for her photo.
Freya, 15, entered the charity’s Young Photographer Awards 2024 after capturing horse Galaxy yawning in the wind.
She spent hours watching rescue ponies at the end of her road, who eventually “got curious, and would gallop up to say hello”.
“I love the wind lifting the mane and the single beam of sunlight catching the copper in Galaxy’s forelock,” the Sheffield teen said.
