Project Cloud’s Sneakers Are Perfect for Spring

Every year when spring rolls around I’m greeted with the same age-old question: What are the cool-girl sneakers of the season? Between divisive footwear fads and ever-changing celebrity favorites, it’s tough to discern which styles are actually worthy of a spot in your collection. Trust me, I’ve tried my fair share of tennis shoes, and after much trial and error (and many steps), I finally found the pair I’m relying on this spring. Meet the newly released Project Cloud Leather Sneakers, which are available for just $40 on Amazon. (Score!)

Thanks to their low-profile silhouette, the versatile kicks will serve as a cornerstone of your spring—better yet, year-round—footwear rotation. They feature timeless leather uppers and statement tongues reminiscent of far pricier styles. Beyond their elevated look, they boast an ultra-lightweight and breathable feel. I can attest, the brand name is accurate: These shoes seriously feel like walking on clouds. Though you can never go wrong with a little white sneaker, the pair is sold in six additional styles, including trendy metallics and leopard print.

It turns out, I’m not the only one swooning over Project Cloud’s Sneakers; they’re selling like hotcakes this season and have already earned the title of Amazon’s number one new walking shoe release. One shopper raved that the shoes are “more comfortable than most of the popular brand name sneakers [they’ve] tried in the last five years.” Not to mention, they’re more budget-friendly, too. A second reviewer with “very arthritic feet” confirmed the kicks are “nicely made,” adding that the “support is good” and “size is accurate.”

One fan of the sneakers said they “receive lots of compliments” on the fashion-forward style, and I’m in the same boat. I get so many questions on the kicks—even when I’m just sporting them with my comfy loungewear. That said, they look great with practically every ensemble in my closet: I pair them with everything from sweats to breezy dresses. And between us, I may just treat myself to another colorway before they inevitably sell out this season.
