North Yorkshire Police say that on Thursday (January 30) officers and PCSO’s from York Outer neighbourhood policing team and the York Community Safety Hub attended a business in Clifton with City of York Council Trading standards.
A police spokesman said: “At the location officers conducted a search of the premises and recovered a significant amount of illegal unregulated vapes and tobacco and cigarettes.
“This was conducted as part of the clear hold build initiative. It is also the second successful operation that we have conducted with Trading Standards in the Clifton Area.
“This work shows we will continue to work with law enforcement partners to disrupt and deter criminality in the area.
“You can contact us on 101 or report online.
