York events company Noble Happenings are staging their second such ball at the majestic timber-framed Merchant Adventurers’ Hall, which was built in 1357.
The black tie Ball, which sold out several months ago and has a waiting list of over 100 people, offers live music from 2 different bands, a 3 course candle lit banquet in the Great Hall, and an after dinner grazing table provided by York delicatessen Love Cheese.
Guests are traveling to York from across the UK and around the world, including America, Canada and Europe, who are set to party with locals from closer to home.

The evening will also see guests take part in a champagne raffle, which will again raise funds for St Leonard’s Hospice. Last year’s ball raised over £500 for the charity.
Although tickets have sold out, those interested can join the waiting list to be the first to hear about 2025 Ball tickets when they go on sale early next year. Noblehappenings.co.uk
