As a digital nomad, stable internet is never optional. It affects work, payments, maps, and connections to people. Reliable tools like eSIM services are becoming essential for people who work while traveling. I have worked remotely in Germany, the United Kingdom, and Mexico. I’ve also had layovers in Russia and parts of Africa.
And after years of travel, I’ve learned that simple tools are the best tools. If something works consistently, I keep using it. That’s why this review is very honest and direct.

Why I Use eSIM as a Digital Nomad
Less Stress When You Arrive
Landing in a new country is already tiring. We don’t need the additional hassle of internet troubles. With an eSIM, mobile data works right away.
One Phone, No SIM Swapping
Eskimo lets you keep your physical SIM active. This helps if you still need OTPs, bank alerts, or messages from home.
Better Focus on Work
When the internet works, work feels easier. Emails are sent fast. Video calls stay stable. I also connect it to my laptop when needed. Tasks get done with less stress.
Cost-Effective For Longer Or Multi-Country Trips
Buying many local SIM cards can add up. eSIM reduces SIM card wastage because everything is digital. Unused data may roll over depending on your plan.
My 3-Month Experience Using Eskimo eSIM
Setting it up was fast. From purchase to activation, it took less than five minutes.
The connection was stable in cities and popular areas. I used it for emails, Google Docs, cloud tools, messaging apps, and video calls.
I also used it to share data using a hotspot. It worked well. Hotspot support is available on most compatible devices.
Maps worked smoothly. Light streaming was fine. Battery use stayed normal.
I tracked how much data I used. The app shows usage clearly in GB. This helps you manage your data plan.
In remote areas, signal can drop. This happens with most providers.
