Meghan Markle and Katie Holmes Wear These Anti-Jeans

As someone who’s a stickler about getting eight hours of sleep every night, the elevated pajamas trend that celebrities like Kelly Ripa and Chrissy Teigen have worn is definitely something I can get behind. But if you’re not quite ready to go full-on sleepwear with a matching top and bottoms, allow me to introduce you to the next best thing: silky pants. Soft, satin pants are the anti-jeans that Anne Hathaway, Katie Holmes, and Meghan Markle have all worn, and most recently, Oprah Winfrey posted in her own version of the style, prompting me to finally snag a pair. 

Although dark wash denim makes up 99 percent of my fall pants collection, there are some days that the thought of putting on jeans genuinely exhausts me. For those times, silky trousers are the perfect middle ground. To hop on the Hollywood-approved trend, I headed straight to Amazon, where I found options starting at just $13.

Just like Katie Holmes, I’m also a fan of a flowy, wide-leg silhouette. That’s why I love these beige silky pants, which are perfect for pairing with a pointed-toe boot or kitten heel.
