Margot Robbie, Tom Ackerley Settling Into Parenthood

Margot Robbie and Tom Ackerley are enjoying that new baby bliss. As the couple is “settling into being parents,” they are feeling grateful to have expanded their family after wanting to for so long.

“They waited a long time to get pregnant, so it was almost unbelievable when the baby actually arrived,” a source told People. “They’ve both been settling into being parents.”

The adjustment hasn’t been a difficult one, as Robbie and Ackerley actually prefer to spend time at home. Having their baby boy, which they welcomed last month on October 17, is just a plus. “They’re homebodies so it’s been lovely to spend the time just them, at home with him,” the source added. “They’re so happy.”

After the news of Robbie’s pregnancy broke, a source told People that she and Ackerley knew early into their marriage that babies was always a part of their plan, with the source noting that the couple had “wanted to start a family for quite some time…family means a lot to both of them and they knew early on in their relationship being parents was something they really wanted.”

In the time since giving birth, Robbie has been back to business as per usual—the actress has been spotted running errands around town showing off her post-baby style, wearing an array of relaxed outfits as she steps into the mom life. Her latest look featured a black bra crop top and tiny shorts, which she wore underneath a chic blue button down long sleeve top with white pinstripes.
