As a certified Amazon lover (it’s easily one of my most-used apps), I consider Prime Day my favorite time of year. For at least the past 5 years, I’ve relied on the multi-day sale (June 23-26 this year) to stock up on everyday essentials like paper towels and hand soap, and to refresh my wardrobe with timeless fashion basics, which is what I want to talk about today.
After years of shopping Prime Day, I’ve learned to navigate the endless deals, spot the worthwhile discounts, and skip the rest. I’ve also come to understand that just because something is affordable doesn’t mean it’s “boring” or “not chic,” especially when it comes to fashion finds. That’s why I’ve been tasked with helping our readers find the best fashion basics deals as they drop by live shopping the event.
Based on the early Prime Day fashion deals and the new discounts that launched this morning, there are plenty of elevated basics worth adding to your cart. The best part is that they’ll help anyone create an expensive-looking wardrobe and solve the daily “What do I wear?” question.
This year, in-house brands such as Amazon Essentials and The Drop have amazing deals on simple tees and dresses, and favorites like Levi’s, Madewell, Vince, and Schutz are offering discounts on elevated staples like vintage-looking jeans, pretty tops, lightweight sweaters, and vacation-ready flats.
There’s truly never been a better time to snag those high-quality, anti-trend pieces you’ve been eyeing. That said, keep scrolling to discover and shop the editor-vetted discounts. And remember to bookmark this page and keep checking back, as I will be keeping it updated with the very best fashion basics deals as they become available.
