Bellerive Hoi An Resort & Spa Review
Looking for a serene getaway in Vietnam’s most captivating ancient town? Allow me to introduce you to an ideal sanctuary—The Bellerive Hoi An Resort & Spa in Hoi An. It was conveniently included in our itinerary, curated and hosted by Cebu Pacific and Da Nang City Tourism, yet I intentionally avoided looking it up online beforehand. And I’m so glad I did, because the first glimpse left me utterly captivated.
Bellerive Hoi An Resort and Spa
Tucked along a tranquil riverbank, the resort radiates a blend of elegant luxury and calming simplicity. Upon arriving at the hotel, the welcoming staff, lush tropical gardens, and sparkling pools were instantly inviting.
Since our stay was sponsored, I didn’t initially know the nightly rate. While we waited for our room key cards in the open air lobby, curiosity got the best of me, so I asked about the rates at the reception. To my astonishment, the price was surprisingly affordable for a five-star property of this caliber. The hotel is one of those rare gems where every detail, from the grand entrance to the impeccably styled rooms, radiates luxury and comfort. It’s a beautiful property that effortlessly demonstrates that true luxury can be both accessible and reasonably priced, allowing guests to feel genuinely pampered without the usual pretentious atmosphere.
Resort Concept and Design
The resort draws inspiration from the vibrant river heritage and deep-rooted fishing culture of Hoi An. The architects skillfully incorporated elements reminiscent of traditional fishing boats—such as gracefully curved wooden beams and boat-shaped seating areas—throughout the property’s sleek, contemporary design.
A highlight of the property is its expansive infinity pool, which extends towards the horizon and blends effortlessly with the tranquil waters of the Thu Bon River. The pool’s edge dissolves into the river below, creating a mesmerizing illusion where guests feel as if they’re swimming directly in the river itself, surrounded by lush greenery and picturesque riverbanks.
The resort’s accommodations are spacious and elegantly appointed, featuring high ceilings, locally inspired decor, and a harmonious mix of natural materials like wood and stone. Each room is equipped with modern luxuries, from plush bedding to state-of-the-art amenities, and boasts floor-to-ceiling windows or private balconies that frame breathtaking views—either overlooking the serene flow of the river or the verdant landscapes that envelope the property.
