Officers are searching for Jay Gibson, 19, who is said to be from the Harrogate area. They said they have carried out a number of enquiries and are now issuing an appeal for the public to report any sightings of him.
They added that he is believed to be in Harrogate, but also has links to Dewsbury in West Yorkshire.
