The highly anticipated Lionsgate release Diablo by director Ernesto Diaz Espinoza, executive produced by Highlightstar, the trailblazing social media company led by CEO Bill Shadorf, and “CiscoKid” Francisco Carrillo, is set to debut in theatres and digital on-demand on June 13th. The film stars Scott Adkins, Marko Zaror, Juan Camilo Castillo, Lucho Velasco, and Alanna De La Rossa.
The action feature is the Highlightstar’s third feature launch in recent years, underscoring the agency’s commitment to spearheading innovative collaborations between the time-honored traditions of production and distribution companies and the dynamic, rapidly evolving creator economy.
Social media sensation and multi-talented actor-comedian Carrillo will make his executive producer debut with the film, in partnership with Highlightstar and Grindstone Entertainment Group.

An exclusive screening of Diablo will be held in Los Angeles on June 12th, with the director, stars and producers of the film in attendance, including Colombian actress Alanna De La Rossa, who also stars in Grindstone Entertainment’s Dominique, also co-produced by Highlightstar.
This thrilling, action-packed film features a riveting narrative centered around a recently released ex-convict who embarks on a perilous mission. In a desperate twist of fate, he kidnaps Elisa (De La Rossa), the daughter of Vicente (Lucho Velasco), a powerful gangster. This reckless decision plunges them both into a deadly game with El Corvo (Marco Zaror), a psychopathic killer hell-bent on seeking revenge against Vicente’s family.
Diablo is produced by Scott Adkins, Craig Baumgarten, Clay Epstein, Jason Gurvitz, and Alvaro Gutierrez, and written by Mat Sansom, along with Adkins, Marko Zaror and Ernesto Diaz Espinosa.
