There is also an argocat from Kirkbymoorside at the scene.
In a post on Facebook, North Yorkshire Moors Railway have said that they are unable to run any further rail services today and are arranging buses to return all visitors safely to their starting stations.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: “Our officers are currently patrolling the A169 due to concerns that motorists are stopping their vehicles on the main road, to get out and take photos and videos of the fire.
“We are appealing to motorists not to do this. Not only is it a safety concern, but vehicles have been causing an obstruction.”
