Drew Barrymore Wore a Plaid Maxi Skirt, and Lookalikes Start at $24

Talk about plaid romance — when it comes to Drew Barrymore’s skirt, that is.

Specifically, a plaid maxi skirt, which the talk show host styled to perfection during a recent episode of The Drew Barrymore Show. Barrymore’s long, mermaid skirt featured a drop waist and rich brown plaid design, which she accented with a caramel-colored silk button-down and coordinating necklace.

Plaid is one of those patterns that comes back every fall, and for good reason — it contains so many colors that it’s easy to pair with multiple items in your wardrobe. And, in the case of Barrymore’s maxi skirt, it’s a comfortable alternative to more restrictive jeans and trousers that still looks stylish and pulled together.

Barrymore’s trending pattern is in good company right now; Taylor Swift recently wore a plaid mini skirt to dinner in New York City, and Kelly Clarkson rocked plaid pants on an episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show.
