The owner of two “dangerous” on-the-loose dogs, one of which tried to bite a man and another dog, is being sought by police.
The animals, described by South Yorkshire Police as bull breeds, approached a man who was walking his dog in a field behind allotments on Avenue Road in Wath Upon Dearne, Rotherham, on Wednesday 6 November.
One of the dogs, described as white and large-built with brown patches, tried to bite the man and his pet, according to officers.
Police said they wanted to trace the owner of the dogs, or anyone who knew the whereabouts of the animals since the incident.
