Europe’s tertiary major club competition was only introduced in the 2021-22 season, and both clubs will be aiming to win it for the first time.
Chelsea secured qualification for the Champions League on the final day of the Premier League season, and Real Betis qualified for the Europa League in the Spanish La Liga.
Usually, the winner of the Conference League qualifies for the Europa League group stage the following season, but that’s not a factor that will be on the line in this final.

If they emerge victorious, Chelsea would have won a full set of European trophies, while Real Betis are aiming for their first bit of regional silverware.
Conference League matches have only been available to watch through TNT Sports up until this stage of the competition, but viewers are able to see the final for free.
