Billy Flynn from Days of Our Lives is officially leaving the show after playing the long-running role of Chad DiMera. Flynn has been known for bringing a lot of intensity to Chad since 2014, and his character has become a staple in the popular soap opera. His emotional depth and dramatic storylines have earned him a loyal following, many of whom have grown attracted to Flynn as the character. However, his days as Chad will soon be over as Flynn is joining a new soap opera.
Flynn confirmed he was joining The Young and the Restless in an Instagram video shared to the show’s account. There was a lot of speculation surrounding who he would play, and Us Weekly confirmed Flynn would be stepping into the role of Aristotle Dumas. The character is a mysterious business tycoon who has been mentioned on Y&R for months.
To be on The Young and the Restless and be over at CBS feels like a dream come true. It’s my mom’s favorite soap opera. So, mom, you’re welcome.
