Life, after all, is a sport—especially when you consistently show up dressed for the win. And while nailing the outfit is a flex on its own, true sporty girls made sure their presence was unmistakable at the 2025 ESPY Awards. They knew that if you’re stepping out to collect your flowers, you’d better do it in full fashion-first mode. What united their standout looks? Bling—lots of it.
From shimmering embellishments to glossy finishes, these women turned the red carpet into a runway. Simply put, last week’s fashion moments struck the perfect balance between artsy flair and contemporary polish, proving once again that style is a sport—and they’re playing to win.
The Looks
Ciara came out guns blazing at the 2025 ESPY Awards, effortlessly commanding attention on a night meant to honor athletes. While the event celebrated sports excellence, the singer made it clear that red carpet domination was also on the agenda. Arriving alongside her husband, football star Russell Wilson, Ciara turned heads in a form-fitting beige Bronx and Banco “Monica” off-shoulder gown, intricately studded with crystals that shimmered under the lights. The gown hugged her figure like a glove, striking a flawless balance between glamour and edge. She completed the look with strappy matching heels—and, of course, the kind of unwavering confidence only Ciara can deliver. No question, she was one of the night’s brightest stars.
Oh, to be a summer bride. When the sun hits just right and the love is mutual, all that’s left is the dress—and what a dress it was for Latoya Tonodeo, who tied the knot last week in a breathtaking gown by Nicole + Felicia. Delicate spaghetti straps framed a sculpted corset bodice that cinched in all the right places, before cascading into a softly flared ball gown that felt straight out of a fairytale. With its subtle hue, sweeping volume, and ethereal silhouette, Latoya’s bridal moment was a lesson in modern romance. It was the clean girl aesthetic, yes—but elevated to something truly unforgettable.
Megan Thee Stallion had quite the week. Not only did she go public with her new beau, NBA star Klay Thompson, but her Pete & Thomas Foundation also hosted its inaugural gala, raising an impressive $1.2 million for underserved communities. For the milestone night, Megan slipped into a show-stopping halter-neck maxi dress featuring a daring chest cutout. But it was the crystal-studded detail around the hip—shaped like an oversized belt—that truly stole the show. The embellishment hugged her curves in all the right places, adding just the right dose of sparkle and sculptural drama. With minimal jewelry, a pair of stud earrings and a single ring, Megan let the dress do all the talking. And talk, it did.
