Amal Clooney Used Parfums de Marly Delina Hair Mist

Some people look like they smell good; I don’t even need to catch a whiff to want to know what their signature scent is. Amal Clooney, who radiates elegance and glamor, is, of course, one of those people. Fortunately, she’s not gatekeeping—or, at least, her hair stylist isn’t.

For Clooney’s Cannes Film Festival appearance, she worked with celebrity hair stylist Dimitris Giannetos, who gave her shiny locks soft, voluminous waves. I wasn’t shocked by the look—bouncy blowouts are kind of her thing—but I was surprised by the finishing product: Giannetos topped her shiny strands with Parfums de Marly’s Delina Hair Mist, a bright, floral hair perfume, with a warm vanilla base.

The feminine scent offers notes of rose, lily, and lychee, making it perfect for spring and summer. Shoppers have described it as “fresh and sophisticated,” saying that it smells “like entering a luxurious store.” Basically, it’s a rich bitch scent. 

Giannetos called it “magical,” saying it’s the “secret to having all eyes on you.” And shoppers agree: “Every time I wear this, I turn heads,” said one fan, while another wrote (err warned) that “people will ask you what perfume you are wearing.” 

It takes just a few spritzes to coat your locks in the scent—spray directly onto your hair or a brush—and wearers have reported that it lasts for more than 24 hours. While I know a hair perfume can seem a bit frivolous, I have to say that adding one to my routine was game changing. With each head turn or small breeze, the scent wafts through the air; I can’t help but do Glinda’s “Toss toss!” every few minutes.

After learning that Parfums de Marly’s Delina Hair Mist is the finishing touch to Clooney’s bouncy blowout, I’m grabbing my own bottle.
