A man arrested on suspicion of manslaughter following the death of Nottingham ice hockey player Adam Johnson has had his bail extended by police.
Panthers player Johnson suffered a fatal neck injury from a skate during a collision with Sheffield Steelers’ Matt Petgrave.
The 29-year-old was taken to hospital in Sheffield on 28 October 2023 where he was pronounced dead.
A post-mortem examination confirmed he died as a result of a neck injury, said South Yorkshire Police.
