A convicted rapist who absconded from prison has been found.
Neil Trennan, 60, was given day release from North Sea Camp, an open prison in Boston, Lincolnshire, on Thursday, but did not return to his meeting point.
Lincolnshire Police said Trennan was seen by a member of the public and arrested by police in North Yorkshire earlier.
A force spokesperson said: “We would like to extend our thanks to the many members of the public who have called us with information and possible sightings, and who shared our appeal.”
