13 Deals From Madewell’s Presidents’ Day Sale 2025

Generally speaking, I try to only buy clothing when it’s on sale. Fortunately, (brag) I’m really good at finding deals, so it isn’t that hard to stick to. I mean, I’m already adding Madewell spring styles to my cart at up to 82-percent off ahead of Presidents’ Day weekend.

As a former Madewell manager, I know that long weekends typically mean double-discount sales, and this one is no exception. Right now, all markdowns are an extra 30 percent off with the code SALEONSALE while discounted denim is an extra 50 percent off. As an ex-employee who is still in love with the brand’s jeans, cozy sweaters, and leather accessories, I’m taking advantage of this major sale and grabbing a handful of early-spring styles.

Below, shop the items I’m eyeing, as well as two sale styles I already own that I think you need in your closet ASAP, starting at $28.

Super Wide-Leg Jeans

Madewell’s Super Wide-Leg Jeans, now 64-percent off, are my favorite. Even with wide-leg styles, finding 100-percent cotton jeans that don’t squeeze my wider thighs can be tricky, but these are perfect: They snatch my waist, offer hold at the tummy, and are comfortable and roomy through the legs. I own the style in this faded black, and I’m seriously considering snagging them in blue while they’re so discounted.

Waffle-Knit Wool Cardigan

A medium-weight cardigan is the transitional style every wardrobe needs, which is why I’m eyeing this waffle-knit one. There’s a lot I’m loving about this sweater, including the cute striped pattern and its perfect fit. While lots of cardigans are either skin-tight or totally oversized, this one offers just a little bit extra room; it gives you enough space to layer a T-shirt underneath without veering into frumpy territory.

Flap-Pocket Field Jacket

The steepest discount I found is on this field jacket in the perfect spring pink. Not only does that color help you transition your winter wardrobe into the new season—pair it with your favorite dark denim and sweaters—but the lining is removable, meaning you can wear it now (unfortunately, it is still cold) and all of spring.

Wedged V-Neck Sweater

This is another style I own and think you should, too. The sweater is really soft, the perfect length, and it has the best V-neck—it’s low-cut but doesn’t leave me feeling at risk of exposing too much. Red is my go-to pop of color, and this vibrant cherry shade doesn’t disappoint, but it’s also available in five other colors, including white, green, and black.

Madewell’s early Presidents’ Day sale-on-sale is where I’m stocking up on early spring and transitional styles, because they start at just $28. Below, shop even more of my top picks—just make sure to enter the code SALEONSALE at check out.
