Bandidos is an action-adventure series that follows treasure hunters Miguel and Lilí, as they look for a famed loot. They soon discover that some nefarious individuals are also looking for the same Mayan treasure. Season 1, comprising seven episodes, premiered on March 13, 2024. In case you want to know whether there will be another season of the show, this is what we have found out.
Here’s all the Bandidos Season 2 release date information we know so far, and all the details on when it is coming out.
Is there a Bandidos Season 2 release date?
Bandidos Season 2 does not have an official release date, but it might be announced in the future.
As of March 2024, Netflix hasn’t renewed Bandidos for Season 2. This is not unusual as the inaugural season just came out, and Netflix will likely observe how it performs with the audience before deciding on the show’s future. There also needs to be a narrative scope if Season 2 is to happen. Toward the end of Season 1 (spoiler warning for those who haven’t seen the series), Miguel and Lilí reunite and seem to be planning their next job together.
The prospective Season 2 can potentially revolve around the said job. It can take the two main characters to a completely different setting from Season 1 and surround them with a new group of supporting characters. So, if the Netflix viewers respond to Bandidos Season 1 positively, another season might happen.
The cast includes Alfonso Dosal as Miguel and Ester Expósito as Lilí. Luis Gerardo Méndez, Mabel Cadena, and Bruno Bichir are also part of the cast.
Where is Bandidos Season 2 coming out?
Bandidos Season 2 could come out on Netflix.
This is because the inaugural season of Bandidos came out on the same platform. ComingSoon will provide an update if and when the streaming giant makes an official announcement about the sophomore season.
The official synopsis for Bandidos reads:
“A gang of skilled misfits ventures to uncover a long-hidden Mayan treasure. Their strategy? Hazy. Their dynamic? Off. Luckily, they’re pretty ingenious.”
